Omar Ismail

Founder • Lead Trainer

Omar Ismail is a passionate cybersecurity specialist and the founder of Hex Defender. With a strong background in both offensive and defensive security, he has consistently demonstrated excellence in national competitions—earning 2nd place in the Iraq National Cybersecurity CTF (qualifiers and finals) and 7th place in the MOI CTF. Omar combines deep technical skill with a mission-driven approach to education, creating real-world labs, trainings, and challenges that help students master cybersecurity through hands-on experience and innovation.

Ahmed Hashem

Trainer • Blue/Red Team

Ahmed is a versatile security professional with a strong track record on both Blue and Red Teams. He has earned multiple certifications across detection engineering, incident response, adversary emulation, and offensive operations. In competitions, Ahmed placed 26th in MOI-2 CTF and 3rd in NCC CTF, showcasing consistent, high-level performance under pressure. At Hex Defender, he focuses on bridging theory with real-world workflows—helping students build repeatable tactics, sharpen their analysis, and grow into confident defenders and operators.

Ahmed Fouad

Trainer • Web Focus (Blue/Red)

Ahmed Fouad specializes in offensive and defensive web security. He trains deeply on the OWASP Top 10, chaining vulnerabilities into end-to-end exploit paths and translating them into practical detections. Beyond web, he contributes in forensics and binary exploitation. His results—2nd in the NCC finals and 29th in MOI-2—reflect consistent competitive performance.
